For Sale 1949 Triumph Roadster 2000 DFX 346 - TRA 141 Regrettably, as I am now approaching my 80th. birthday, I have had to realize, that the time it might take to get it back into first class order could be longer that the time I will have to enjoy it. The car really is in remarkably good condition and complete. It is drivable, The bodywork is good, the door shuts are very good, and the chrome is wonderful, and it is complete. The interior is also good. The black leather bench seat shows very little signs of age, as do the black carpets. All instruments on the dash are present The hood is in good condition and in working order, as are the dickey seats. The battery is good and the engine starts first time and all gears would appear to be in good working order. A spare gearbox is with the car, as is a brand new thrust bearing and brand new wiring loom, plus some spares The chassis however does require some welding. |
